A few days ago, Mrs S and I were shopping at one of the superstores (not Walmart) here in Ji'nan. We were in the grocery section where I observed a couple of fish tanks full of live fish. One of the tanks contained normal looking fish like perch or trout. The other one was full of big old catfish that looked to be over a foot long. I looked at them for awhile and then started to walk away. All of a sudden, one of the catfish came flying out of the tank, almost hitting me. At first I thought I had been attacked by a flying catfish. But then I realized it had just somehow flopped out of the tank. By then, people were staring at me more intently than they usually do. They were probably wondering about what this weird foreigner was up to now. I quickly summoned one of the store clerks, and bypassed the language barriar by pointing to the fish. He grabbed a net, kicked the fish into the net with his foot and tossed the fish back into the tank. That was my "shopping experience" for that day.
I guess that catfish didn't like the way you were looking at him.

That's your best story yet. And you haven't even been in China for 3 weeks!
