EV asked if we could do some more photography this evening before her bedtime so we got this shot of the salt shaker:
48mm, 1/60th of a second, f/11, ISO 200, key light (SB-600) camera left manual 1/8th power, fill light (SB-800) top manual 1/32nd power.
I'm still trying to figure out how to control those highlights, get the background bright enough, and maintain color saturation. It's a bit of a balancing act. I think lighting from the left and top adds a nice subtle shadow to the right of the shaker but doesn't illuminate the background quite as well as shooting from the two sides. More experiments to come.
