The frosty morning and fall colors extended to the ground yesterday up in the canyon.
55mm, 1/13 of a second, f/22, ISO 1600. I don't believe I intended to use ISO 1600 because I had the camera mounted on the tripod but it does give a nice contrasty effect. f/22 helped keep everything in focus and It doesn't feel like I lost a lot of sharpness (lesson learned from a few days ago, yes!)

You had your camera on a tripod? Is it swivelled to look straight down? Cool!
side note: i tried to do some shots of (the word is escaping now) - but of a trail and the trees and stuff - it's so hard. I couldn't get anything halfway as nice as the pics you capture!

Oh, I think this is one of my new favorites. Your landscape shots are beautiful, but it was a nice little break from them.
