There are a multitude of ways to manage stress. This week I experimented with two ways. I have always wanted to play drum grooves with a lot of hook. Here's a very rough recording of the 16th note groove I wrote about last time. WARNING: Adjust your speaker volume down before playing this. You have been warned.

I felt rather giddy after making that recording and can say with confidence that it helped me release a lot of stress. This example qualifies as a cathartic type of stress management. (Lucy, I would like to apologize in advance if that scared any regular visitors away.)
In contrast, I also had a go at a more serene approach to stress management with photography. This approach is quite satisfying as well, though not in the same way, as you might imagine. I suppose there is a time and season for both. In any case, I feel a lot less stressed now than I did before I made this blog entry.
Two great ways to releive stress and we get to benefit too!

oops, Thanks for the warning. I turned the volume down before hitting play.
